2023 Honda HRV Redesign
The Honda HRV will remain the same in 2023. The five passenger cabins of the LX, Sport, EX, and EX-L variants are identical, as is the fold-down rear seatback, which allows for a massive load area. When you shop around, there is a good chance that you will find an SUV with a CVT and either front or all-wheel drive. Despite its low ground clearance, the 2023 Honda HRV-all-wheel-drive V’s technology makes it more stable on snowy roads.
The car’s combined fuel economy is 30 mpg in front-drive configurations. However, others are even better. Although the HR-cabin V isn’t very luxurious, it offers adequate room for four people and their stuff. Even though the HR-V has fared quite well in crash tests, the lack of automatic emergency braking is a glaring omission.
Tall items may be carried by raising the seat bases or folding the second-row seats forward to create a flat cargo compartment. However, this vehicle’s main trick is an otherwise standard interior that feels a little lackluster considering the high price it comes at. Because of its load capacity, we assign it a score of six out of 10. Because the HR-front V’s seats are flat and lack support, there is no use in requesting the driver’s seat. The cargo space is about 25 cubic feet when the second row is upright and almost 59 cubic feet when it is tipped forward. This vehicle’s roots may also be observed in the materials utilized.
The HR-front-wheel-drive V versions had a 4-cylinder engine rated at 141 horsepower. If you’re driving an all-wheel-drive car, you’ll need to plan for almost every maneuver. The CVT doesn’t help much, even though we’ve gone rivals with significantly more turbulence in the gears. Even so, having a guide would be beneficial. However, the HR-V Sport’s 18-inch alloy wheels are a tad rigid, but at least the HR-V has a more pleasant ride with 17-inch tires. The handling is accurate and well-balanced, with less lean than in many crossovers of a similar height, which is impressive. Although the HR-V does an excellent job on the open road for a small vehicle, highway driving isn’t that pleasant.
2023 Honda HRV Release Date and Cost
The 2023 Honda HRV‘s entry-level model is the LX. However, the $22,645 price tag comes with an older 5.0-inch touchscreen screen and no automatic emergency braking. You can upgrade to an Apple CarPlay and Android Auto-capable audio system with 18-inch wheels for an additional $24,995, but safety features are still inadequate. Only the HR-V EX is available with the optional features you’re looking for. The heated seats and power sunroof make it a no-brainer for us at $27,345 with an all-wheel-drive or $25,845.
