2024 Honda Pilot Interior, Pictures, Redesign – In the highly competitive midsize SUV sector, Honda’s Pilot is a popular choice. Apart from functionality, the 2024 Honda Pilot seems slow compared to the competition, which we have always found unsatisfactory.

All variations come standard with a nine-speed automatic transmission and a 280-horsepower V6 engine coupled to a nine-speed shifter. Due to the Pilot’s numerous variations, there is a Pilot to fit every budget. Additionally, there are other pre-installed options.

2024 Honda Pilot Redesign

There is nothing to say about the design of the 2024 Honda Pilot, which we believe is one of the vehicle’s most significant flaws and is in desperate need of an overhaul. The Pilot, as is typical for Honda, is a practical, well-equipped vehicle, but it lacks the company’s characteristic cutting-edge styling. The Pilot’s uninspiring exterior and wagon-like side profile make it appear inferior to rivals like the adventurous Kia Telluride.

Honda does, however, offer a Special Edition trim level for the Pilot that includes a set of black alloy wheels. While the Honda Pilot Black Edition raises the bar, we’re not convinced it represents a considerable change from the standard vehicle. All models have LED low-beam headlights and LED foglights.

All variations have a power moonroof with a single touch and a motorized tailgate (hands-free above the EX-L level). Panoramic roofs are standard on high-end automobiles. 18- to 20-inch wheel sizes are available, depending on the rim finish.

Before delving into the interior of the 2024 Honda Pilot, it’s worth noting that getting into and out of the Pilot is a breeze because of its low ride height and wide-opening doors. Once inside, the building is well organized. Almost everything is conveniently accessible, and the interior of the Honda is meant for families.

This car’s cabin radiates elegance, although it is not as exquisite as the Kia’s. Because the driver’s elevated position in the front seat has a superb view of the road ahead, all models include a sunroof. The most expensive models feature a panoramic roof that floods the cabin with natural light. By and large, it’s an outstanding job that can be a little tiresome.

Honda Pilot owners expect their vehicles to be reliable workhorses that can get them around town, pick up their children from school to the grocery store, and on family vacations. Honda chose a naturally aspirated, large displacement engine with an automatic transmission to keep their cars running well for a long time.

A naturally aspirated 3.5-liter V6 engine with 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque powers the front wheels or all four wheels via a nine-speed automatic gearbox. Furthermore, rear wheels are available. Our early assessment of this combination provides a large amount of low-end torque while remaining capable of operating at higher rpms. However, we noticed that the transmission was occasionally garbled.

Even compared to the Kia Telluride and Toyota Highlander, the Pilot is a terrific value. As a result, it cannot compete with rivals’ entry-level models, starting at or below $30,000. The Honda Pilot’s entry-level EX-L trim level starts at $39,060.

The prices listed above exclude tax, registration, and a $1,225 destination charge. The Special Edition, priced at $39,660, is the next option. The trip costs $43,620, while the premium version costs $49,120. The Black Edition is offered for a price of $50,620. The Honda Pilot’s price will increase by $2,000 if you switch from front-wheel drive to all-wheel drive.
