When Will 2023 Honda HRV Be Available

When Will 2023 Honda HRV Be Available –  However, Honda was one of the first manufacturers to jump into the subcompact crossover market with its HRV model. The 2023 Honda HRV received a slew of upgrades as it started to show its age. These updates provide more peace of mind and if you choose the new Sport variant, an appealing air of sportiness. The HRV’s recent updates only solidify its position at the top of my list.

Sport models are now available, as are a few additional creature-comfort upgrades in the various trims of the Honda Accord. Honda chose with each iteration that I find more and more difficult to justify, but the final result is one that I love. An automobile of this size looks great with its orange paint and gloss black lower body trim and wheels.

Interior

It’s a fantastic place to spend time, even though the décor hasn’t changed much. It is my favorite feature of 2023  Honda HRV model because the headliner is black, and the cloth seats have contrasting stitching. Because of my height, I didn’t have any issues squeezing into the rear seats of a vehicle this size. Split-folding rear seats on Hondas are a standout feature in the second row. The optional all-wheel drive reduces cargo space, but the second row of seats can be folded flat to make the car the roomiest in its class.

Engine

No matter how many new features and trims are added to the HRV in 2023, its powertrain will stay the same. The 1.8-liter, naturally-aspirated, four-cylinder engine remains unchanged. The HRV’s forward motion can only be described as better than sluggish on a good day because of the increased weight of the all-wheel-drive system and the fact that the HRV’s 141 horsepower and 127 pound-feet of torque are meaningless.

Automatic transmission and a CVT make this vehicle unsuitable for sports driving. With the Hyundai Kona’s 175 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque turbocharged engine, Honda’s 1.5-liter turbo I4 would be the better choice for this car. For both the Kona and my 2023 HRV tester, the EPA-estimated fuel economy is 26 miles per gallon in the city and 28 miles per gallon on the interstate (31 mpg vs. 29, respectively).

Honda’s trim levels don’t often contain additional features, so you’ll get precisely what you see (and what you pay). My choice is the EX variant, which comes standard with heated seats and keyless entry, and Honda Sensing. To save $1,400, I’ll stick with the front-wheel-drive 2023 Honda HRV. My Sport tester, at $23,620, costs $100 less than that. The EX may not be as visually appealing, but it more than makes up for its performance.
